Yeap, Universal Rig Grease is the same product which I use on my Lugers, some of which are in storage in a metal trunk, and it is the best product to preserve and protect against rust. Avoid getting Rig Grease on the wood grips because this may attract mildew. May I also suggest that you insert your pistols in a quality pistol pouch which has flease lining. I use padded pistol pouches made by The Allen Company which are superb, but they are expensive ($15-$20 each) and they difficult to find.

You pistols well 'sleep' well until you take them out of storage.
