Evidently there's something about this one that I'm not seeing. Hold down strap is obviously a poor replacement. The remainder of the holster is nice, but $345 ???

Interesting,
The buyer is obviously trying to complete a G-date rig. He spent well over 1300 USD for the bits alone (magazine, holster and loading tool). |

I am certainly no holster expert but it looks to me that this may have been converted from another type to a P08 holster. Does anyone else agree/disagree?

Hi Gerben,
The holster is an Imperial Artillery Regt. marked and marked to again to an Artillery Repair Depot. He picked the wrong holster for a G date rig. Hi Don, I don't think so. It looks like a standard Imperial issue Luger holster to me. The photos are fuzzy, but it could possibly have a Weimar Reichswehr rod pouch added in the lid. Ron

I see, got it mixed up with a G-date holster that sold for about the same, different buyer. |
