Lugers and C&R machine guns have indeed appreciated in value. It's a major reflection, in my view, of buyers willingness to put up the money. I believe SimpsonLTD is constantly testing this willingness and I have yet to see a piece reduced in price, it just stays around longer. But if you think this is a good example of appreciation of value, witness the increases seen with first generation Colt SAA's, Dragoons, Walkers and Patersons. They leave the lugers in the dust.
