Pat,
You are correct, this LP-08 was put together after 1918. But because of Rons exceptional and excellent contributions to this form and because many of the parts on it were made from left over original parts from DWM, I think that we should forgive him in this one instance.

Mauro,
your quest for the perfect French LP-08 rig is not over. It looks like you still need to find the shoulder stock. However, since the French and the Italians are such marvelous appreciators of fine wines, I would be willing to offer a trade of one bottle of Michigans finest in exchange for your incomplete French LP-08 rig. I assure you that it has been properly aged for a full year in my garage.
