I agree that the Luger still has all the history behind it and is just as collectible as any Luger. It may not have the value of an original, but this practice was common for the returning soldier. At the time, the pistols did not have the value they do today and I don't think anyone ever thought they would be as popular as a collectors item.


As I have always said, all Lugers except the total parts pistols DO have a history behind them and should be treated as such.
