I received my 1918/1920 police luger from Hugh today. My 35 year old son and a friend of his the same age wanted to do some shooting. I have a place in the country with shooting range. My son was shooting Mod 29 S&W .357 and his friend had a Glock .45 I am not sure of the model.
We started on paper target and I didn't do well because front sight was shines. It blened in with the white paper. Next we shot metal silhouette from a distance of 25 to 50 yards. I could see my front sight on the metal targets and wiped them out. They couldn't believe a 60 year old man could out shoot there hot shot guns with 90 year old pistol. I was shooting WW 115 gr shells. The pistol didn't miss a beat in 50 rounds. Brushy SE Okla |
