Ron, Actually I have read the book and it's a surprisingly well done work on the Simson pistol as well as other interesting aspects of the Simson manufacturing. It looks like Ed has done a great job. I found a great deal of information I didn't know about Simsons. I believe it will be well recieved by Luger collectors as a work that needed doing and is available no where else.
And yes, I was surprised that Ed had anything to do with it...I was like you and thought he was all hot air . Apparently I was wrong. I am happy to say I believe he will sell one or more of these to any person who is even mildly interested in Lugers.
I know I want one! It will make an invaluble reference volume and be very handy if I am ever lucky enough to find a Simson Luger!
