Norm, the question of the barrel having been reblued is answered by looking at the close-up photos of the muzzle and the barrel serial number. The former is well worn and the latter displays quite a halo.

As to Erfurt's serial numbering, all my Erfurts' numbers include a suffix and none show the suffix on the barrel. Erfurt also seems to be inconsistent in how the stocks are numbered, some include the suffix and others do not.
