DWM what does it stand for?

The story is my neighbors father and his brother were both

in WW2. They both brought home lugers from slain german soldiers. he used to have the drum for the gun but has misplaced it over the years.my neighbor has the one we are talking about his brother has the other..

thats all he knows as his father has passed on!

I can try to find specific dates as to when they got them.
