Interesting how things make the rounds. I sold this gun locally (Portland OR area) three months ago. Its a straight-up 1912 Erfurt P-08 with an export-marked, commercial artillery replacement barrel. The sideplate as shown on the auction is a force-matched (non-Erfurt) replacement--when I had it the sideplate was mismatched. It looks like the chamber date may have been "freshened" a bit, it was a very weak stamp to begin with. Otherwise it looks like the same condition as when I had it.
