DWM what does it stand for?

Please don't try somewhere else Ken. This forum is the spot to get all the information about Lugers that you need or want. It's just that a while back, someone talked about a Luger for sale on an auction that had for a selling point, "A German General's Initials" engraved on the top (DWM). We all got a laugh out of it and Thor was referring to that episode when he made his remark. I knew what he was referring to, and said "take it easy Thor." The humor was certainly not directed towards you, because you asked an honest question. You will find that on this forum, honest questions are almost always answered in a forthright manner. I admit that you may have to put up with some banter between the vets of this forum, but you will get honest opinions from some very honest and knowledgeable guys. I myself, have started threads where two, (or three) vets will go off on a tangent of their own, completely oblivious of the original question or thread. When that happens, I just stay out of the way and learn from what they say to each other. If you love Lugers, then you are very welcome here!
