Dave Molchen had a Presentation Imperial era Hirschfanger hunting dagger marked "K. St." that he posted on Still's forum awhile ago. I did some searching and the best guess that we could come up with was that it was an Honorarium presented to a graduate of "Kriegsschulen"( War school) at "Stettin". The fact that unit markings were reversed after WWI begining with the formation of the Reichsheer. It stands to reason that this, being a post 1933 Third Reich piece, would conform to the post WWI order. My guess would be that this is parade or presentation dagger , also from the same war school. III is possibly the Battalion number or company. Ron
