Default Spare Magazine List

Hi,

I'm new to the Forum and only have one Luger at present, a 1940/42, #2700c. I had a nice 40 + gun collection 20 years ago, mostly early Grip safety types, including a 1900 Test w/holster, but sold them off in 1984. I'm now very interested in Mauser Lugers and their magazines.

So finally to the point. I have a few spares I'd consider trading off or possibly selling and of course would like to be able to have one or more of them match someone's pistol. All my mags are 95-98%, very good to excellent condition and not messed with. Here are the few I would consider letting go for trade for mags in comparable condition closer to the number of my pistol:

2713v + No Waffenamt - Rolled Tin Blue - Nazi Commercial or Contract ?? Only to owner of pistol.
2749 + fxo - SE37 - P08
5087m + 122 - SE37
7083y + SE63 Rolled Tin Blue
8339h + 122 - SE37
9939e 122 - SE37

The one I need is 2700c - 122 - SE37 or possibly a SE655 Rolled Tin Blue ?

Can anyone tell me which type I need for sure?

Thanks,

Jerry L.

Jerry: Would you consider selling your 2317v mag. I have a 1940 Swedish Contract without a magazine and it is a v block and a v mag would be at least correct for it. Let me know how much you would like. I have a couple commerical mags that are used and have been apart and cleaned if you would like to trade. Let me know. Thank you. Sam Buscemi

Sam,

I'm not sure right now, let me think about it. I was hoping I could find someone with a correct mag for my 1940/42 close to the serial number in a c block to swap with or of course someone with the pistol that it goes to which I know is a stretch.
Also as I'm sure you realize it's worth a lot more than your normal Luger mag. But let me think about it.

Have you seen the pics of it in the Holster Forum? It's the first post. I added pics of the mag body further down in the thread.

Thanks for your interest, you'll be the first person I'll consider if I decide to sell it. My collecting interests are pretty much centered around wartime/prewar PPs, PPks, their holsters, and mags and especially P.38s, their holsters mags and grips. I might consider trading for something along those lines.
