Thanks Tac. I had #312 recorded but not this one, so the list continues to grow. Do you have any idea what they mean by "the last named 'B.Q. Callow'. Registration Number 'J748"? Would that be the last known registered owner? I presume it was only the gun with none of the accessories. Even with incorrect smooth grips, if it is in otherwise good condition, a bit over $11,000 US isn't too bad if it hasn't been deactivated (I would guess it probably has been rendered "harmless", which is sad).

Tac,

Are you saying that Lugers made before 1918 are also not required to be deactivated in the UK?
