Default Unknown modern carrying case

Hi all,

This little case came up in another thread. Bought it cheaply at a local militaria fair, as it clearly was designed to carry a 6" barrel luger.

The material feels inexpensive, although it's a velvet lined french fitted case. Plastics used for the handle indicate it's fairly recent.

My first impression was that the case was made for some luger-a-like, something with the same shape and form. The bottom recess also holds a 4" luger pretty well, although the shape is slightly different from the top one. It may well have been made for one of those airsoft thingies, or some locally made 'dress-up' set for a postwar 6" Mauser Parabellum.
