Muffin1,
is your artillery chamber dated 1920, double dated along with another WW1 date or is the chamber not dated at all? Are there military proof marks on the right hand side of the receiver? What does the bore look like? Pictures would help. Especially of the serial numbers on the bottom of the barrel. Does the bluing and strawing look original or has it been restored? Is there some sort of eagle off to the side of the serial number under the barrel? Are there multiple serial numbers on the real sight and do they match? Lotsa questions, but as George said, pictures would help.
