Leave it alone. Any refinishing will de-value it. It's in very nice condition from what I can see in the photos. $600 is a damned good buy. As far as shooting it, that's your call, but if you break a matched part. The value will go with it. Some will advise getting a mismatched toggle train to use for shooting. A nice score! Ron
