These old guns can be picked apart to death but the fact remains that this is a nice example and still mostly correct.

This quote by the seller is the typical response by someone who is not a luger collector. They think because it is a artillery luger, it must be worth $2400-$2500. WRONG... If it is (significantly) incorrect, it is not a collectable piece...

wrong grips, replaced slider, wrong firing pin. I would ask more questions about the breechblock and internals. Otherwise, a decent artillery, just not top of the line collectable.
