Jimbo- Thanks for the update...and for being up front If you want into the world of G43, I'd recommend Darrin Weaver's book "Hitler's Garand. I nearly listed a real matched ac44 today and wanted 2.5K, but couldn't bring myself to do it. Expensive toys that only get even more pricey... I also know the guys in CA pay more for pieces than out East...
