Stock lugs

Mauro, I expected that the stock lugs of the Mausers were going to be different...but I had hopes. This is only the second navy stock I've seen for sale (both repros). I assume these things come up for sale at times, but not in my neck of the mesquites it seems. Thanks for the help.

Broom, I appreciate the measurements. I'm pretty much certain I wouldn't take any metal off the pistol. I might work on the stock iron if I can't work anything else out. It'd be a piece of cake if the area weren't curved.

I think the gouges are too deep by a long shot for steaming to work.
