Hi,
Not really. If you have a firing pin that's numbered to the pistol it is a good idea to swap it for a 'shooter pin' to avoid breaking it. I have a 1906 Dutch, which still has the correct firing pin. When I shoot it (not too often) I use a fluted replacement pin. You do need to check whether the replacement firing pin will work with the sear bar. I once had the pistol go full-auto after installing the wrong replacement pin. Interesting experience. |
