Default Krieghoff back frame DWM

I have a Krieghoff back frame inscribed DWM commercial. Anybody have an idea of value in 95%condition? It is all correct, matching in the i suffix.

Would appreciate any information. Bill

Bill, need photographs. There may have been as many as 10,000 that went through HK in the 1920's. The rarest has an HK anchor logo on the toggle, the next rarest has a lazy C/N on the left of the receiver and the most common has an upright C/N. The latter version has gone on Simpson's in the $1.5 to $1.8K range in the recent past but could be $2K now in the condition you describe.

Looks pretty nice. Is it dated 1921 on the chamber? It also has the correct mis-stamped first "F" in the back frame stamping.

Most were dated 1921 but many were undated. I would guess that if this piece were for sale on Simpson's website, the asking price would be $2250. Of course, that represents the top of the retail range.
