I am a self employed heating engineer. Which means I am registered with the UK governing body 'c.o.r.g.i' which allows me to legally work on natural gas central heating systems, pipework, gas fires etc. I should imagine that there is not much call for heating engineers in Florida eh ?

I'm too old to retrain in anything else now, so it'll have to remain a dream.

i'm sure I would be made very welcome, as all the Americans I've met have been nothing but polite and friendly.
