Portuguese GNR holster

Ok, I won the auction for this holster on Ebay and feel a little cheated by the seller. The holster itself is in great shape and I have no complaints about it. But the cleaning rod that looks like it was just taken apart in the picture is actually broken. I knew that the pin punch was bad, but I actually paid a bit more because I knew the value of the cleaning rod. I paid $358 shipped. Should I ask for some money back? I was thinking about $50 or so. Or should I keep my rap shut, as these holsters are rare as henÃ¢??s teeth?
