Default Identifying Luger

Guy I ran across has a Luger for sale. He sent one blurry picture, and I am trying to identify and value. It has a longer than 4" barrel, but not sure exact length. It is marked Mauser in a banner on the toggle; along with that it has "original" in cursive. Some sort of spread eagle on the chamber. It has a grip safety. He described the gun as a P-08, not sure if it is so marked. I am getting further information from him, but don't haven anything else yet.

Another question, when were the last Mausers made?

I know this is not much to go on, but any guess on value? Finish looks excellent. What about if refinished? The originality is not confirmed.

Thanks for any help.
