I've never owned a Glock and I probably won't. I have heard too many stories about them. Besides, when you go to clean it, you have to depress the trigger to get it apart. This is not good for people who do not know how to inspect a firearm to see if it's loaded. I know, it's hard to believe, but they are out there. People using Glocks too often are slinging lead when they shouldn't be.

Like Ron, I too own a Sig Sauer P 220 45 cal and I absolutely love it. It's one of the early models with the European release on the magazine (on the bottom) I've owned it for years and it never has failed me. Rarely, but on occassion, I will get a jam at the range when it's dirty. The trick with any auto is finding good ammo and keeping it clean.

Yep, I'm with Ron on this one. A good S&W stainless 357 mag or a Sig 45 auto is a good way to go. Besides, they are a thing of beauty, "if" they have wood grips
