Good question, please allow me to clarify...
What I meant by "...it only took about a half-second to get over it" was it only took about a half-second to get over my stereotype of you. It was meant to indicate that I was the one holding you (and other LF members) to a ridiculous standard. In my defense, my realization hit after more like 1/10 of a second, but I rounded up . We are of like mind, my brother collector/shooter (as I'd imagine all but the stuffiest of LF members are).

How do you think I feel? I'm a redneck with no trailer park in sight. I would actually get in trouble for marrying my sister around here .

The whole "My-eyes-shall-never-fall-upon-the-sights-of-a-lowly-$175-milsurp-rifle" thing was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but it turned out to be more foot-in-mouth. The last thing I wanted to do was get you all bunched up over it.
