Default Re: U. S. Commercial Holster ??

I've seen many types of holsters that were available in the 1920s & '30s for commerical lugers. The types most books show are the regular WW1 surplus military holsters marked (usually on the back) "Germany", for export to the US. As mentioned above and in Gene Bender's "Luger Holster & Accessories", many US firms including Heiser, Ronstat, Abercrombie & Fitch, Audley, Lawrence, Myers, Stoeger, Von Lengerke & Antoine, amoung others offered holsters for the various barrel lengths of lugers. The ones that are maker marked are definately sought after by collectors.
