Confirmation of Police Marks
I'm a bit hamstrung in researching Weimar Police marks by not yet having the classical references. Can someone confirm/provide info on the following guns?
DWM S/N 4134n on p. 140 of "Weimar & Early Nazi Lugers" DWM S/N 4335u on p. 153 of same reference DWM S/N 5749q on p. 138 of same reference DWM S/N 7777q on p. 136 of same reference S/N 71812 on p. 234 of same reference Luger with "P.S." on grip strap on p.111 of same reference Luger with "LS.Al.45." on grip strap on p.104 of "German Small Arms Markings" Luger with "SP.Bn.1198" on grip strap on p.148 of "Luger Variations" For each of these guns, I need the following information: * Logo on toggle * Full serial number with suffix * Exact grip strap mark with all periods * Existence or evidence of sear safety * Chamber date and/or property date Jan Still has printed a new batch of "Weimar Lugers" and I have ordered one but I'm anxious to get this info. Thanks for any help. Don
