Post Red Dot Powder

While checking the Cast Bullet List I found this interesting comment:

"...However, one niche that Red Dot fills is that it is closest to the burning characteristics of the German powder used in the original 9mm Parabellum. It, therefore, has been found to give more consistent and reliable operation in Luger pistols than other modern powders."

I remember Ken Waters' 1973 data (using a P.08 as the test gun) found Red Dot produced the most accurate loads tested.

Can anyone confirm or refute the Cast Bullet List comment?
