I have an artillery holster which has been cut down to hold a standard P08. It is ink stamped under the flap "BAXIX 18" and maker marked on the front: SATTLER LIEF. VERB.
IM SUBM. AMT LEIPZIG 1918 It retains the artillery type horizontal strap loop on its rear and has never had the strap button installed on the flap. I would like to know what the markings mean and if the cut down is proper for 1918 or was it done in the Weimar era. Any thoughts are appreciated!! |
