first LUGER

Mt brother in law wants to sell me his Luger(his dad's RIP) and we both don't know much about them and I have a few questions. The gun has been re-blued, the only marking is the DWM on the top. The only numbers I could find were ; on the body below the barrel 51XX, the barrel 30cal (same number). the 9mm barrel has no numbers.It has a lug for a stock, lanyard loop and no grip saftey. After reading on this board I find it odd that there are no other markings. What would be the best book I could buy to help me find out what i have. Thanks for the great sight.
