Values of these Lugers?

My uncle has gotten these two lugers as part of an estate settlement. I am going to buy them but I am not sure of what to offer him. If someone has any ideas on the approximate value I would appreciate it. He is only going to charge me the at cost value not the full retail value. Also, any ideas on why the 1937 has a threaded barrel and can that be fixed/replaced?
