Hi,
Another result of my search for obscure Luger-related documentation. The booklet is a pocket manual for East-German Volkspolizei staff, called 'Kleine Waffenkunde'. Published in 1966 (20,000 booklets), it aided the VoPo staff to learn more about the equipment that was at their disposal. The P08 section is nice, as it shows both the VoPo-P08 with bullseye grips and the '1001' Haenel-produced extruded magazines. Equipment that is discussed: Die Pistole 08 Die Pistole 1001 Die Pistole "Makarov" Die 7,62-mm-Maschinenpistole "Kalaschnikow" Die 7,62-mm-maschinenpistole KM Der 7,62-mm-Selbstladekarabiner Das 7,62-mm-(leichte)Maschinengewehr "Degjarow"(IMG-D) Die 40-mm-Panzerbuchse (RPG-2) Handgranaten: HG4, RGD-5 Doppelfernrohr (DF) 8x30 (binoculars) Furthermore some explanation on shooting postures and a very amusing introduction about the 'Imperialist Westgerman fascist state'.
