Arrow How to Upload and Post Pictures

Site Admin Note: Ed Tinker was kind enough to create this tutorial for posting photos to the Lugerforum... This question is constantly asked by both old-timers and new members alike and it is great to have this post to refer them to.

It is an excellent tutorial so I am going to "TOP" it (it will remain here on top of the other posts) and "Lock" it so that it won't get any longer with replies. If you have any comments about modifications to the tutorial, send them to Ed, and I will make arrangements for him to make changes when necessary-John Sabato

Here are the instructions for posting photos:

I am going to try to demonstrate how to upload pictures to the forum. I chose Microsoft Internet Explorer because I know it the best, other commands in Netscape and browsers like it will be close.

You want a total of two separate browser windows.

Step 1: Open a 2nd "Upload Photos" browser window by right clicking on the Upload Photos link at the left of the screen and choosing Open in New Window.

Step 2: Look on your hard drive and find the picture that you want to upload to the forum. Go to your C:\ and find that Ted Green photo. Go ahead, I'll wait.
Wherever you store photos is where the picture can be uploaded from.

Step 3: Here is where I store my photos and specifically my file folder with ThorĂ¢??s reworks, (I keep a collection of them).

Here they are, pretty ey? Decide the one you want to post.

Step 4: Click on the one you want to upload and actually upload by choosing the one you want and then click on upload.
