Stevie User Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: Ok. Posts: 212 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts	I've asked this same question myself. My old DWM has a step or ridge, my Mauser does not. Somewhere I saw a cutaway picture of a 9mm luger and the chamber was stepped or slightly bottlenecked, but I can't remember where. I have the question posted in "military lugers" on the forum, but still no real answer. Stevie.
