Default Rust Blued KRIEGHOFFs

Bet that got John D's attention! Charlie Kenyon, in two different publications, has stated and included pictures of a early Krieghoff "marked" Commercial Luger. Basically by the timing and serial run, it appears a 1920 DWM commercial with a slightly enlarged H&K Anchor Logo on the toggle link.

This was in the "i" block indicating, at least to me, it was made during the 1920 Commercial run (Still calls these ALPHABET Lugers). How do collectors view these Lugers? Are they legitimate or a later fake up? They werent really made BY KRIEGHOFF, assuming legitimate, but made by DWM for Krieghoff to market and sell. If this is true, they would be a Krieghoff marked rust blued Luger. Food for thought and discussion. Your opinions are appreciated and solicited. TANKS! Thor
