Default Rock Island Auction

A short time back I noticed someone asking about this auction. I collect another brand of gun also (HS) and bought one gun from this auction; basically sight unseen. I was told the gun is "nearly new". It is a very scarce model, especially in any condition worth collecting; so I paid way too much for the gun based on the "nearly new" designation and a glowing description of the gun. This gun is pretty nice but it is definitely not "nearly new" in my mind. Should you get the compulsion to bid there and not be able to actually see the gun in question I would suggest you take the description you are given with a grain of salt. The people who work there are very knowledgeable and helpful as well as polite and keepers of their word except for making something sound better than it is; maybe not by a whole lot, but by some, that's for sure. Also, be aware that the auction is probably the most expensive way to buy.
