On the early Lugers, particularly the Swiss, it is a beautiful fire blue. On later mags, the blue seems to get duller. To me, the mag on eBay has a blued pin, at least it appears darker than the magazine body. I would like for it to appear darker, but I'm not sure it isn't authentic. Then again, for that kind of money, it better be. __________________ If it's made after 1918...it's a reproduction
