Range report

Just took to luger to the range. Shot like a dream/ 1st shot-bull at 10yrds!

Two questions:

Mag-The mag I got was new(plastic base/follower).Before I shot it,it would hold the toggle open;now it doesn't.I also had to tap mag in (X2), for second shot.Do I need a new mag-do I have "problems"?Should I get a mec-gar mag (s/s)?

Markings-Had quite a crowd (indoor range);people asked to shoot!

One guy remarked at the factory marks (nazi eagles);he took offense (?). Said I shouldn't own something like that! Do/are they common on war lugers (sorry- I know they ground off jap markings)? What do you say to people, when they comment (most people said "cool"). I've had people look at me strange, when I bring out the FAL; never said "I shouldn't own it"!

Sorry; I'm very green. Felt good to be a "member"!

Once again, without all of your help; I would never fulfilled my dream!!!!!!!!!!!!!
