Post Takedown lever spring assembly

Now that I have springs to keep the takedown levers from falling out, how do I get the things back together? Putting the spring in the proper place is no problem. Getting the takedown lever all the way to the hole in the right side of the frame is not too difficult but I cannot line it up to go through the hole for the final push! How is it done? The spring pushes the lever up so that it no longer lines up with the hole through the right side of the frame. It is not off by much but enough so that it won't go in the hole.
