Post Vopo restoration, 1906/1907 test

Ted
I want to thank you for the excellent restoration job that you accomplished on the Vopo Luger (two matching fxo mags) that I recently obained from you.

This Lugers frame, sn 29, is that of a 1906/1907 Prussian test luger. Its grip safety has been removed and replaced with a 1908 type safety. The front strap marking G.F.M.G.8. signifies: Garde-fusilier-Regiment, Machinengeweher-Kompagnie waffe no. 8. Another 1906/1907 Prussian test Luger in my data base : sn 28 is marked G.F.M.G.10.
