Two questions

I finally got to the range and had a chance to shoot my AE and artillery.
The American Eagle has the major problem. It does not **** after firing! It cocks and fires just fine if I lift the toggle up and close it again but then it does not **** after being fired.
The artillery locked open before chambering the last round almost everytime. I could then manually cycle the action and have it lock open on the empty magazine but it wants to lock open with one round left. There is about 3mm up and down play in the magazine when it is inserted. Can this be tightened up in any way? I do not mind repacing any parts because the gun is already a mismatch of parts and that may be the problem.
