This came in yesterday. I traded my Lithuanian HP to FGS for it. Some of you may have seen it posted on their site. A nice 1917, in 95%+ cond. and unit marked to 164th Infantry Regiment. The one draw back was that after I got it I noticed that the side plate had been force matched. A 35 changed to 75. As it was stated as "All Matching". I contacted FGS, and pointed this out. After 2 or 3 e-mails on the subject. I received a phone call from Doug Smith, indicating that he had'nt noticed that it was over struck. He apologized. And the problem is being corrected ASAP, with a proper side plate.
Outstanding service! (In my opinion.) Excellent gentleman to do business with. And I can't recommend Doug Smith and Ken Clark at FGS inc. highly enough. I am happy! Just wanted to share it, and maybe brag just a skosh...! Ron ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
