Post Please help identify my Luger !!!

Being a novice, I came upon a 1942 Mauser 9mm Luger, in a pawn shop, I had owned several Lugers' before, and was struck by the fact that the year 1942 was stamped on the chamber and that the Mauser name was stamped on the toggle, the serial # of the weapon is 3336, all the detachable parts have the correct number on them. The weapon has wood checkered grips, an attachment for a strap (laniard) on the rear of the weapon, on the front below the serial # is the letter y, on the right side of the breech is an eagle with an L facing front, proof mark # 49. There is a stocking lug on the grip. The clip has no number, the holster looks its age, in brown stamped HEGERLINDE 1937 with an Eagle and a swatztiga (sp) The weapon is 95%+, with an excellent bore. Can anyone help me with the identification and possible value? Is this a collectable or a shooter?
