Hello,
My latest P08......one I'm most proud of as it was a long & hard search.......But here is: Mauser 41-42 SN 9365n all original, nice rich deep dark bluing, E/655 Proofs, proofed grips, non matching mag but correct ( Frank ? ) 122 Code FXO mag ( not the one displayed in the photo...) Pistol produced in January 1941 and is in the correct SN range. It represents the last produced 42 toggle Mauser P08s as they went forward with the BYF toggle coding at that time... This Variation is special to me as those 41-42 ( 7000 produced ) were for the most part sent to the Russian front for the Stalingrad battle.....which represents, some say, the turning point in WWII..... I am VERY HAPPY to have this great find in my Collection NOW !!! MARK
