1914 dwm
I managed across this: a 1914 DWM P.08 1214a, all matching and original finish sans a mismatched DWM magazine (the other mag on here is an orphan Erfurt mag I had on hand). I would guess finish is ~90% blue. Strawing about 75% or so. Bore still has good rifling and is shiny, though not mirror. It doesn’t look like it was fired much either, not much finish loss whether the toggles would meet the rear of the frame. Mechanically the gun is excellent as well. I put a full magazine through the gun and it functioned flawlessly.
The gun has some extra history on it as it is also British proofed, all being rather tasteful for the British. They are so faintly struck in non billboard fashion that I at first mistook the “not English make” on the right frame rail as just some standard finish patina/scratches and the general British nitro proofs for Crown/RC stamps on many of the parts. It matches down to the unfluted firing pin and grips. The pistol came with a cut down US 1911 Holster. The seller said it came with the gun from the GI who brought it home from WW2. To add to it, at SOS I found at a table what was advertised as a commercial Luger magazine pouch and brought it home as well. Thank you and hope you enjoy!
