Default working on Luger Tools book

Well, @Mobandyjp82 ( Justin Parker ) and myself decided to write a book on Luger Tools about 8 months ago.
@klaus 3338 and David Lindsay have both given their time, pictures of their collections and expertise.
@Dwight Gruber said he would take the pictures of the tools! Originals, repros and fakes will be discussed.
Our plan is to include the following;
Early DWM trial tools
Commercial tools, 1900-s to 1930
DWM Imperial
Erfurt Imperial
Weimar army
Weimar Police
3rd Reich
DDR
Norwegian
Mauser 1970's

These are the known tools

DWM ( 14 variations )
Four lobed crowns above D, E, F, G, H, J, L, M, large S, T, large X, and the letter Z.
Three lobed crows are found above letters H, small s, and small x.
The letter M is found with a three or four lobe crown.
One tool has the stamp of the Imperial Navy.

Erfurt ( 11 variations )
Crowns having a (mostly three part or lobed) crown above C, D, G, H, J, L, N, S (small and large, both underlined), and U. The exception, the crown above the letter V, has four lobes.

Simson ( 1 )
Eagle 6

Weimar ( 3 )
SU50, eagle/SU25, anchor [small or large] under an “M”

3rd Reich ( 38 )
Ö|37, B|90, S|92, S/42G/S92, and two different W|154s ( 6 )
1935
droop eagle/211 marks and droop eagle/63 ( 2 )
1936
WaA63s ( 1 )
six more different shaped stick eagle/63s ( 6 )
two different stick eagle/135s. ( 2 )
Two different S/42 and four different 42 Mauser code stamps, which did not use an eagle. ( 6 )
During 1937 eagle 63 stick wing, four different sizes with two different patterns in each ( 8 )
1939-1941 Four variations of the eagle 655 ( 4 )

Krieghoff ( 3 )

Blank tools
DWM
Mauser
DDR
Norway
Finnish

We expect to have it completed no later than early Summer 2024, hardbound, full color
