They actually came pretty close to becoming Mauser revolvers in the early 1980s.

Willi Korth offered the whole company for sale to Mauser, who then had a financial assessment done. The verdict was that the assets were not in line with the asking price, being overvalued by Korth. So Mauser backed out of the deal.

Korth revolvers are like hand made tailored suits. You pay for the experience, the handcraft, the name.
