Unit Mark Question
Understand that this is a Luger website but a lot of the members have extensive knowledge of other early European weapons and markings.
I have a Model 12 Forrmer Stop 7.65 pistol that has a unit mark on the left side between the trigger and the wood grip. Wondering if any of the members can tell me what it means. I believe that it is of Hungarian or Austrian origin, but who knows. 2,T.O.G.1.1.15. There are no Imperial German proof marks on this pistol. Stamped on the trigger guard webbing on the left side it is marked, C, a shield with a line running top to bottom, 2C Any info would be appreciated.
